Jeanette is an artist living in North Herefordshire. Born in Sweden she draws inspiration from the Scandinavian nature and culture as well as the beautiful Shropshire and Herefordshire border country and indeed further afield.
Following 20 years living in Shropshire she has now settled in Yarpole and runs her studio from her back garden. Jeanette’s creations are positive, and her wish is to help the viewer or recipient of any artwork to reflect and look forward to more in and of life.
Having raised two daughters who love horses, this beautiful animal has become a natural subject as are the landscape painting. Jeanette works in a variety of mediums. Oil, acrylic, charcoal, and graphite, often exploring the expressiveness that can be achieved with light and dark. Together with the looser painting style she is also able to draw detailed pet portraits, taking commissions. See website for examples of work available.
